As far as VAT (Value Added tax) is concerned. Gold is free of VAT. Silver is charged 6% or 19%. Silver bars are charged 19% (considered an "industrial good") and silver coins - if they are legal tender - are charged with 6% VAT. Most bullion coins are charged with 6%, for example the American Silver Eagle, Canadian Maple Leaf, Mexican Libertad, Kookaburra, Koala, Lunar, Philharmonic and many others.

If you are buying gold or silver from Silver Mountain and are from one of the countries in the European Union, there won t be any custom duties. Any other country and custom duties may apply and they will be your responsibility.

The listed shipment charges will apply only to purchased items that are offered by Silver Mountain on its web site Silver Mountain also sell on eBay and shipment there will not be the same.

All goods and/or services will be delivered only upon order, which will be filled within 20 (twenty) days after the invoice date.

If the order is delayed either because the stock has been (temporarily) depleted or for any other reason, the customer will receive notice of this within 20 (twenty) days after the invoice date at the latest. In which case the customer will be entitled to cancel the order free of charge.

When the customer receives the invoice payment instructions will be included on the invoice.

Silver Mountain only ship with insured mail so that, if the package is lost in transit, the order will be replaced or fully refunded.
